Simultaneous combat in Dnd from SSS Advanced Player's Guide. Example?

First Post
I was looking for a simultaneous combat for Dnd 3.5 and may have found it in (the now defunct?) Sword & Sorcery Studios Advanced Player's Guide by White Wolf. However, the example in the book left something to be desired. If you have the book and, even better, have used the optional phased combat, could you post an example on how you used it?

No real experience with SSS but found the same problem with the RAW system as you did. The RAW D&D d20 combat system in rounds and iteratives and such is one of the things that I found I tired of after a while, especially once I had played and DMed a high-level campaign. Things just seemed to get more and more static.

On the other hand I picked up Exalted 2e, and while I've never really been able to get into the Storyteller system it uses I really liked the combat system. In many ways that system is far more entertaining and lively but it's Storyteller not d20. So I've been working on a d20 conversion of its combat system. Currently I'm on the third revision of the conversion and I think this one will finally live up to standards. If it does I intend to post it over in House Rules.
