It takes some real skill to make a trailer look so bad I don't want to see the movie.

The film is in black white. That is why the trailer is like that.

you mean, because the film is in black and white, they cut together a trailer with some random scenes that give the viewer little idea whats going on?

You pretty much described 3/4 of trailers.

I have no problem with black and white films. I have the entire Kurosawa collection on DVD.

I also have no problem with trailers that don't show what the movie is about.

This trailer looks like a first year film student marking random scenes for a trailer and then jumbling them together because he thought they looked cool. I should know. I did something similar.

I'll reiterate my point that it is no different from the vast majority of trailers.

Been too long in the making and getting to the screen, the look and feel just does not inspire or excite.
