Siseases and Mounts. Please Help

1. The mounts have healing surges or not? Does the rider spend surges for them?
2. Does anyone know what is the price for the warhorse(mount)? Character Builder shows two versions.
3. If I charge while mounting do I get +1 to attacks I make? In the Dungeon Master's Guide (p.47) it doesn't say.
4. If the mount is infected by a disease, can it make Endurance checks, after each extended rest, using my base skill check bonus rather than its own?
5. If I am infected by a disease (let's say Filth Fever) in an encounter, do I make endurance checks every round, or after each extended rest? In other words, If I contract filth fever I suffer from the initial effect only during the encounter or the disease progresses during the encounter? Our DM wasn't sure and he forced us to make checks every round. The result? My paladin (endurance checks +2) and a fellow barbarian reached the Final Effect in two rounds. I still can't believe we survived that.
6. How does an non-intelligent creature(zombie) attacks? Chooses at random a PC, chooses the PC that attacked it in his turn, attacks a PC until ihe dies, or makes an attack that will not provoke OA? Our DM chooses to not provoke attacks even with non-intelligent creatures.
7. Is there a way to increase the weight I can carry without busting further Strength? I think I had seen something, but don't remember.

1. I would say their healing surges are based on their level as per the Monster Manual
2. 680gp per recent errata
3. I would think yes.
4. I believe it would make the check using it’s own ability.
5. For a disease carried by a monster attack, make a saving throw at the end of the encounter to see if you have become infected. Then you make a check after each extended rest.
6. The DMG has guidelines based on monster role. Most (if not all) entries in the Monster Manual offer additional tactics, and many modules include tactics. Beyond that (and considering it’s all just advice) it’s up to your DM.
7. Bag of Holding, perhaps?

You have just made me a very happy Paladin.

Only two questions:
1. You make the saving throw at the end of the encounter or your following turn?

2. If an ally gives you a saving throw with a bonus before the encounter ends and you succeed, do you make a saving throw at the end of the encounter?

Thanks a lot for the answers
