(Site Found!!)Ohio Gameday Part 3

Crothian

First Post
Okay, time to start planning the next Ohio Gameday. We need a place and a date. If we want it held on OSU campus like the last two we have the following dates to choose from. Now, I don't know what rooms we can get these dates, but these are the date of no home games. Home games are insane and there won't be any parking for us, so I'm not even going to try.

Oct 4,11, 25 and Nov 1

Now, if we can find a place not one campus any date could be used except Nov 22.

So, are people interested in a third gameday? Anyone have a good date or place? Anyone want to run a game?

Crothian,
You read my mind! I just posted my pic from the first gameday in the ENWorld Members Gallery and thought, wonder when we'll do that again? I didn't make the second and don't want to miss the third! I have a definite special request as far as dates. I, and Enkhidu since he works with me, will be EXTREMELY busy in October and will probably work a couple weekends. If we could plan for a weekend in November we would GREATLY appreciate it! Plus it helps tremendously when I give my wife as much notice as possible.

I think another Game Day is a fabulous idea. I also like the sound of mid November in order to have time to get everything together. I am moving in mid-october and that will most likely take all of my time.

Also if nobody objects Enk, Fett, and myself could check places around Dayton instead of Columbus. Other than that though I will try to make it whenever or whereever it is.

Okay, November it is. If you can find a good place in Dayton that's fine with me, the drive is not that bad from here. I'll look into things around here and then we'll see what works best for people.

So, what dates are good for people in November? The 22nd is also Thanksgiving weekend I believe, so that would not be a good weekend anyway to pick. That leaves the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 28th.

Also, what is better for people: Columbus or Dayton? If either works then say both.

Sounds like it could be fun :D

I live in the Dayton area, so my first choice would be Dayton (assuming I'd be able to make the time to attend, that is ;)) but Columbus isn't that hateful of a drive, all things considered.

As for time... November would probably work better for me, but like I said, I can't really commit to anything for the rest of the year, just yet ;)

I'll just keep an eye on this thread and see what happens.
