Message: <blockquote data-quote="Gregor" data-source="post: 5431138" data-attributes="member: 11751">"Curse these greedy bastards!" she cries!  In response to the new threat, Torrent moves to H12 in order to protect the two bow-wielding elves.  She grips her battleaxe and readies to attack anyone who steps through the alley door.One of the alley thugs (I 14) throws open the alley door and moves to H13, sap in hand to menace Arnir and Torrent.  "An 'ouse full a spell slingers eh?  We be rich tonight boys!"Torrent's readied action triggers and she slashes with fury at the first thug through the door.  Her axe catches the thug on the collarbone and digs a deep and bloody wound.  The thug stumbles and roars in pain, but stays up."Get 'em Sauce!" yells one of the thugs in the alley, and the attack dog bounds into the open alley door making straight for Kirio and lunging to snap its jaws around his forearm (G 12).  The other thug from the alley strides in after the dog and attempts to knock Kirio out with his sap (G 13).  On his way though, he runs afoul of Torrent's attack of opportunity and though she quickly slashes her bloody axe at the second thug, the attack swings wide.The dog's jaws lock on tight to Kirio's arm, piercing his armor and drawing blood, but the Thug misses with his attack.At the front door, one thug continues to attempt to distract Alric.  The other thug, battered and now wearing only a leather strap where his shield once was screams out in fury: "To the abyss with this bounty, I want their hearts!"  He drops his sap, draws his shortsword and lunges at Alric with murderous intent, only to scrape his sword against Alric's tower shield.[GM]Given the number of new combatants, I've updated the map again just so everything is clear.  I've also updated the status of party members and enemies on the same post with the initiative count.[/GM]</blockquote>
