Torrent dashes over to the rapidly cooling bodies of Kathor and the half-orc scout. With surprise on her face she inspects the wounds and gazes into their lifeless eyes. Slowly she rises, collects her thoughts and speaks: "They are dead. At least they died quickly ... I um ... I think they probably would have died of exposure anyway. I don't know how comfortable I am with what just happened, but I can see both sides of the coin. On the one hand, we have murdered prisoners. On the other, there was no telling whether or not Kathor would have continued to haunt us. I just don't know. Im conflicted." Soon after Kathor dies, Lars' eyes roll back into his skull and he falls to the ground. Torrent runs back over to the group: "Lars! What's wrong?" she says as she kneels by his unconscious form. Perhaps a minute later, the young Rogue's eyes blink open and he stares up at you all with a curious gaze. [sblock="For Lars"]Lars, as you watch Kathor die, you see an almost ethereal dragon-shaped emanation stream out of his mouth with his final breath. Its eyes glow briefly before being blown away to nothingness in the breeze. Before you can blink your eyes to determine if you are seeing things, you black out. You are assaulted by visions, highly similar to those in your dreams which have never been this intense. After what seems like an eternity, you hear a woman's voice and your eyes snap open.[/sblock] Kirio, you assemble the following useful items found on the bodies and in the packs/saddlebags of your enemies (there are also 4 warhorses - 3 light and 1 heavy): Kathor - Masterwork Greatsword, Masterwork Shortsword, Half-Plate, 350gp, 2 liquid-filled vials. Renard - Masterwork Longbow, 40 arrows, Masterwork Black Studded Leather Armor, Black Cloak, Horse-head Helmet, 1 liquid-filled vial, 40gp Horsemen - 2 longswords, 2 longbows (+2 Strength bonus to damage - need at least 14 strength to use), 40 arrows, 36gp, 4 liquid-filled vials.
