Under his arm is a gray cat, which also seems to have died from exposure.[sblock="for Kirio"]Having lived in Gate Pass, you are aware that the citizens of Gate Pass attend large celebrations for the Festival of Dreams (the annual New Year's celebration that is obviously postponed this year).  People write small hopes and dreams on slips of paper and place them in clay jars.  After the celebration, priests from the various temples take the jars out to special caves.  You can infer that this is probably one of the areas where the jars are stored.The caves and gates do not have any interesting or noteworthy elements about them.  Given the rusty state of the iron gates, its probable that they could be broken or bent more easily.[/sblock]</blockquote>
