It's a simple matter of taking a dual major, or taking the appropriate minor with some post college certifications. In the circles I run in it is quite common. We find it enhances our knowledge of the tactical aspects of the game thoroughly, and leads to fewer of the "Can you take a fireball?" incidents. The party fighter, in particular, is quiet pleased with the reduction in the amount of aloe he's had to buy with his share of the treasure. As a matter of fact, we've begun to petition WotC for the inclusion of the meat of the wargamer degree in all further DnD degrees going forward.
