Skills by creature type?

OK, I'm going nuts here.

Do creatures who have racial hit dice, and skill points per HD, have a set list of skills depending on type (Outsider, Monstrous Humanoid etc.), or do they just treat all skills as class skills?

If it varies by type, where do I find this list?

I know I'm probably missing something really basic here, so please be gentle.

It's just specific to the race. Each monster has its own set of class skills for its racial hit dice; those being the skills listed in their stats.

Actually, they do. There is a brief description of the monster types in the monster manual. This description includes racial hit die size, skill points, saves, and BAB per hit die. For example, dragons have d12 hit dice, 8 +int skill points per hit die, +1 BAB per hit die, and good saves in all three catergories.

He was asking about the class skills of the creatures. He already mentioned the skill points by creature type; of course he knows that already.

Yeah, its kind of weird. Most creatures get the skills they have listed as in-class skills, and the weapons and armor they're carrying as their proficiencies. Its shorthand for the monster can do what it does. But I've never really liked Racial HD that much.
