Good day, The Skirmish! DevTeam would like to invite you to check out the free open beta of our homegrown virtual tabletop "Skirmish! VT". As "Skirmish! VT" is still a work-in-progress, the feedback of all beta users will greatly help us improve our software; meaning your opinion can help us shape the final product. If you need any guidance there are some free Skirmish! map and token packs as well as tutorials on our website and of course we can be reached by e-mail, twitter, on facebook or in our community forum. Why use Skirmish? - First of all Skirmish! VT allows you to use private or official Skirmish! assets without any kind of restriction regarding size or type since it is not browser based. This means that in Skirmish! VT you can use hi-res assets/maps (some of our maps alone are 50MB+ files due to their high details) and is perfectly suited for local game tables as well as on-line play. If your bandwidth does not allow for hi-res content, don't worry: Skirmish! automatically converts hi-res content for low bandwidth set-ups with the click of a button. Also our cache system makes sure you don't need to waste time redownloading content in case of connection problems. - Then there is Skirmish! VT’s vision system. It has a customizable Fog of War which includes map revelation/exploration and works as simple as in any strategy or MOBA game you have ever played.
