I can only say that mccathro has been quite polite so far in defending his product. Sure, we see things differently, and that's ok. However, he took my criticism as what it was, and I think he even understands that things were not perfect. I'm not going to bother asking for a 'refund' because the product doesn't meet the licenses. I think that's insane. I paid for a product, I have the product, and that will have to be it. I wouldn't even want to figure out how to go about 'returning' a digital document. In fact, I'm now keeping this company on my watch list to see what they come up with in the future for one of my favorite rules engines. Hopefully we'll see some marked improvment in the next product, and that will shove most of this fiasco under the rug. Don't beat him up over one fricking title. It may not have been great, but I'm sure things will get better. I can't wait to review another product and see how it turns out. Browbeating publishers turn people into defensive over narcissistic (sp?) creatures that end up getting banned from EN WOrld because they can't handle bad reviews over their products. mccathro: feel free to contact me any time if you want someone to just look over your product before it goes out. while I may not be a professional editor, I can certainly point out most of the big mistakes before it makes it on the shelf. I offered the same courtesy to Urizen and I think we're beginning to build a good working relationship out of it.
