[SKR] Broken links

Gez

First Post
On the news page, it is announced there's stuff cut from Lords of Darkness, a Red Wizard enclave, that Sean Reynolds posted on his site. Well, it's a broken link.

See this for the reason why.

It's a bit sad IMHO.

Oh well, it's the reason why I prefer France's author right system to the copyright system found in countries with English legal influence (a work remains the property of the author in France).

Anyway, for the sneaky minds, it's still possible to save these files. One may try Google Cache, or one may do like me and stumble on the actual file while searching for them, before knowing the reason why they were removed (by simply browsing directories... WotC might make Sean to erase these files, however, so hurry ;)).

I was wondering if WotC would ever pull the plug on all of the FR stuff SKR was doling out on his site. I'm not surprised since they disallowed Jim Ward to use Drawmij in his books. It would be unfair to have a double standard, espedially since SKR is putting himself forward as a d20 author. For a while I figured they were ignoring it because of some private licensing agreement between them.

Too bad he had to take all that stuff down.

I looked over the list, and most items on it make sense, but does anyone know what was a "Proskur Plus" was? Just curious.

I'm not sure but I think it contained ten percent more Proskur than competing brands... :p

If you look [someplace deleted by Piratecat], you'll see [a city writeup.]

Gez, I'm removing your link. It occurs to me that if Sean needed to remove them, providing a link to them is bad form.

This is the sort of thing that is best communicated by email, if at all.

I'd say "Give her my best" but it seems you may already have done so... :o
