SL Sea Campaign

has anyone run a sea campaign in the SL or converted any modules to fit into one? I'm curious because it looks as if the pc's might take to the sea briefly. to go from Melaid to the Phylactric Vault.

Interesting you mention that. I am sending some high level players off to a strange forbidding isle of my creation. That said it you can probably put in stuff like sea serpents, the occasional pirate ship and certain once in a blue moon, some strange nautical happenings. My advice for such a sea vogage, don't over do it, but if you want to make it hazardous and/or interesting, Brine hags, and probably Windriders would make for an excellent encounter.

Well I like to think the Drifting Isle won't drift my way. ;) But the rest sure. (Though not sure about were-sharks.)

New one. I can speak with confidence on this, as I am part of the Hollowfaust group...

As for the actual topic of this thread... Haven't run one, but if I did, I'd make sure to use the rules from Mongoose's Seas of Blood. Somehow fitting, I think.

I did, however, run one seafaring adventure (described in Story Hour, link in the .sig) that used a skaven (aka Slitheren) assassin as the bad guy. A ship at sea is a good way to confine the PCs to a certain area, with only a limited amount of people to interact with for the duration of the adventure.
