Not sure I'm up to a review, but if you are a fan of the strip, you should like this book, and if not, then it presents a very different setting which is well worth considering. Its a hardcover book, almost 200 pages, full of art from the comics (so its very nicely illustrated) by Fabry, Bisley, McMahon etc. The chapters are:- Characters Feats Goods & Weapons Combat Eyes Without Life, Sundered Heads, and Piles of Carcasses (mass combat rules) Earth Power A Guide To Slaine's World Adventures in the Land of the Young Gods & Godesses of Tir Nan Og Bestiary Campaigns in Tir Nan Og The setting is Tir Nan Og, the legendary Celtic Land of the Young. As a PC, your choice of races is Human, Warped One or Dwarf. Classes are Druid, Noble Warrior, Thief, Tribal Warrior or Witch. All Human/Warped One characters start with a Geas (magical compulsion) or Weird (special destiny). Honour and reputation are also very important. Lose too many Enech points, and you will be cast out from society; it could even become a crime not to attack and kill you on sight! Will that do for a start? I can give you more info if anbody is interested. Are you familiar with the strips? There is loads of specific background info in this book. What do you want to know?
