[Slightly Spammy] Epic Level Arena!

James McMurray

First Post
Come one, come all and face titanic foes in Exodus: The Epic Level Arena!

Characters pit their skills against other characters in a knock-down, drag-out fight to the finish!

If you like making high (25th) level characters, or just want the experience of playing one, swing on by and we'll be glad to help you out!

The arena can be found at Role-playing Online.net in the Arena section, or diectly via this link.

We're currently undergoing some minor management shuffling, but things are only going up from here on out!

Swing by, check out some of the past battles, and then see if you have what it takes to climb to the top!

There's already been tons of work put into it over at rpol.net, and it would take a lot of setup to get it here to enworld. However, rpol.net is incredibly easy to access. You just go to the arena site and hit the Request Access link. Fairly shortly (as soon as one of the three DMs can get to it, should be less than a day) you'll have access to post. (You can always read the threads without needing access).

Then, you make yourself a character (or several) and PM it to one of the GM's (easily found, as their screen names start with "(GM)" :) ).

Once the character(s) is(are) approved, jump on into the Mad Monkey tavern and throw a gauntlet down. I gaurantee you that someone will pick it up post-haste! :)

The good thing about rpol.net's setup is that it allows for online storage and updating of character sheets in a protected manner. Only you and the DM can view character sheets, so your secrets stay hidden until you want to unleash them. :)

The GMs there are quite friendly and willing to help improve on a character if you've got a good concept but don't quite know how to omplement it. They'll also proably point out a few pitfalls (for instance if you forget to make yourself immune to crits, a truly terrible thing to omit).

Overall the GMs there are incredibly talented, smart, handsome, kind, considerate, and honoroable. (Yeah, I'm one of them, why do you ask? ;) ) Actually, they (we) really do try to be a helpful bunch. At one time the arena was a thriving community, but the impending change to 3.5 and the unfornate loss of the previous DM (deaths in the family) kinda set us back a bit. But we're back on track and ready for all newcomers!

Swing on by, I think you'll like it. :)

P.S.
No, I'm not in sales for a living, I just grew up watching American TV, so a large portion of my learned vocabulary involves flowery phrases used to glorify products. :D
