Slow boards/site?

I don't really know where else to post this, but is anyone else having trouble with the site being EXTREMELY slow? This has been going on a few days now, and I know it's not my connection because I have been experiencing this from a couple of different log on locations.

There is a Meta thread for stuff like this, but I haven't looked for it since the forum branches changed a couple weeks ago.

From the Bay Area in California, I'm not noticing anything being slow here in the last few days.

I have also been having the boards load very slowly. The only good thing about this is that I've started to exercise while waiting for everything to load. Now I can talk about gaming and get a workout.

Honestly, the boards have their slow periods and that's been an issue for well over a decade. It happens then it gets patched or people stop showing up in the numbers that slow the place down and then it gets better.

If was offline for me this morning. Eastern time.
At the very least it wasn't connecting for some reason..
perhaps it's one of the reasons an urgent request for a website/sysadmin has been posted to the main page a few days ago...

This is the second such branching in a year. Firefox cannot keep up. It keeps trying to send me to a non-existent page.

I've seen the occasional slowdown, and even the site not loading every once in a while. It's fast for me right now though.
