Message: <blockquote data-quote="rom90125" data-source="post: 1896905" data-attributes="member: 17111"><p>I agree $40 is a bit steep when all you are looking for is a utility to hide/reveal a map.  I'm in the same position as you...I'm looking for an app I can use to project a map to a monitor (or tabletop via a projector) and reveal sections of the map as needed.  But, if you go with Fantasy Grounds, you'd be paying $35 for the full (GM) license and another $20 for a lite (Players) license to display the 'revealed' map to the players (or can you run two instances of Fantasy Ground on the same box?).  I have tested the demo version of KloogeWerks (Fantasy Ground is scheduling a demo release for this week) and I haven't been overly impressed thus far.  I really like the feature list, but the performance of the app is hit or miss (a common complaint of Jave bytecode vs native code).  I'd like to run the demo version of Fantasy Ground and see what the interface is like  before making further comparisons...</p></blockquote><p></p>
