Slowness

I've noticed that ENWorld has been *really* slow for me for probably the last month or so, if not longer. I generally assumed this was because it's such a popular destination. Lately, though, it's jsut been glacial. I was wondering if I'm the only one who's experiencing this.

Trace from my mahcine here at work:

It seems like it's Cyberstreet or the server itself.

Just curious.

You are correct, sirrah! :)

The boards are lately experiencing problems related to one of the Following: RAM, Bandwidth, or server configuration (though not necessarily in that order). Rest assured, though, that great stride have been recently made towards fixing the problem.

As Cyberstreet keeps Morrus and PCat posted with new info, we will post it to the Meta forum, here.

Thanks for the concern! I love this site myself, and not being able to get in at times drives me absolutely wall-crazy! :)

If the new RAM doesn't fix the problem, we're going after the bandwidth. It's a sizeable amount of money for the next level of bandwidth upgrade, but a site that doesn't run is no site at all. :)

As Henry said, we'll keep you posted.
