Just to agree with everyone a geek-gush a tad.... OH. MY. GOD. The music, Reeve, the plot, Lex... too... much... coolness..... gak!! MAN! I thought it was the pinacle of the ep just seeing Chris Reeve there and having him fill Clark in on what little he knows, but I didn't expect a TOTAL PASSING OF THE TORCH!!!! :D They couldn't have done that any better and with any more class. Pa Kent's speech with Chris Reeve's speech along with Jor-El's final message to Clark was just too much. They have so many ways they can go with this now. They have a nemesis (or ally?) waiting in the wings with the comatose doctor. They have the always splendid Lex Luthor hot on Clark's trail. We have a snooping Chloe who we know won't stop prying. And there is still the mystery of the cave. The question for me is: Will Clark and Lex team up at one point because of Jor-El's influence, then have Clark break it off when he realizes who he really is? What will finally push Lex over the edge and what part will Lionel play in all of this. Then we have Ma Kent's child on the way not to mention future guest appearances by Chris Reeve. It's ripe for the pickins for plots. I never imagined the show would be this good. EDIT: I loved the Christopher Reeve Foundation ad at the end with the old and new Superman (no, I haven't forgotten about George Reeves, but he wasn't there :P). It was very light and it made me feel pretty good and didn't bring me down like so many other commercials of that type. Well done.
