Most of the time he is trying to do the right thing, but people always take such a black and white attitude when it comes to Lex's actions.Anyway, throught most of this past season, I started getting irritated at Clark always poking his nose into other people's business, but when it comes to him, it's a different story. It's all right for him to go and try to find out other people's secrets, but not for anyone else to find out his?So, when Lex and Clark have there eventual falling out, I find it very frustrating when Clark gets all "holier-than-thou", preaching to Lex about keeping secrets from his friends, when Clark does the exact same thing.Then Clark begins to whine and moan about how Lex "pretended" to be his friend for the past 3 years, when you look back at all the things Lex has done for the Kents, it's more than what anyone else on the show has done for them. Even if Lex did have the ulterior motive of finding out Clark's secret, he still considered Clark his friend, but Clark couldn't see that.I love Smallville, but it is just so frustrating to watch, seeing how everyone is just so against Lex Luthor, no matter what he does. When others make a mistake they are more willing to forgive, but when it comes to Lex, they attribute his actions to being a "bad seed".</blockquote>
