SNL Loses 5 Cast Members

On the season opener, Amy Poehler was hilarious as Kim Jong-Il.

I watched the whole show. It was better than I expected. I don't remember much, but I laughed a few times.

Much different than my reaction. I kept nodding off to it trying to watch it. THe kim thing was ok but I think the guy on mad tv does it a lot better. Too many sketches lasted tooo long and too much boredom. Its so funny because if you look at studio 66 you'd think that snl would get a clue as to how to have a really good season opening. Why did a drama parody of the show havea better and funnier opening than the actual show.

I found the season opener OK but not great. I am hoping that this is an indication that the new writers are getting thier footing and will improve instead of the posibility that they openned with thier best stuff and it will go downhill from here.

Yeah I agree, but I honestly cannot stand MADtv's Bobby Lee.
