I'm working on a monster for a holiday themed adventure. It is inspired by Bill Watterson's Snow Goon from the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. Intent is a snowman type construct working as a pack creature. I felt that it would be too powerful for a monster to create more monsters like the original Snow Goon in Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Snow Goons. Instead, I have the power limited to a restoring a fallen snow goon to half hit points and only once per construct. Additionally, the healing requires another fallen snow goon, so it is not a true regeneration. Any advice on refining the monster is appreciated. Snow Goon Medium construct, chaotic evil AC: 15 HP: 32 (5d8+2) Speed: 25 feet STR 10 (0) DEX 10 (0) CON 14 (+2) INT 5 (-3) WIS 3 (-4) CHA 6 (-2) Proficiency Bonus +2 Skills: Stealth +4 (+8 in winter environments) Damage Immunity: cold Damage Resistances: slashing and piercing Damage Vulnerabilities: fire Challenge: 1 (200xp) False Appearance. While the snow goon remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal snowman. Snow Stride. Snow Goon movement is increased by 10 ft. when moving in snow covered terrain. Actions: Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 5 (1d6) slashing damage. Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 5 (1d6) piercing damage + 2 (1d4) cold damage. Snowball: (3x/day) Snow Goon takes 2hp damage to fabricate snowball from itself. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 2 (1d4) bludgeoning damage. Restore: The snow goon can spend a full turn restoring a deceased snow goon to half its original hit points. A snow goon can only be restored once before it is unrestorable. Snow goons destroyed by fire damage are not restorable.
