However, a feat that everyone takes is not as bad as an epic destiny or paragon path that everyone needs to take or class needs to take. By not needing to be a fighter or a rogue, a kensai, or a demi-god just to get some bonuses, the feat eats up a feat slot and opens up options for paragon paths and epic destinies that don't need to focus on finding the way to squeeze every +1 bonus they can find.</blockquote>
