Message: <blockquote data-quote="Sanackranib" data-source="post: 1131191" data-attributes="member: 8674">welcome.I see Nightfall has allready jumped in several times. you will find that is ALWAYS the case whenever the Scarred Lands are mentioned . . . my advice would be to have the partys main frontline fighter be your "new best friend" during a battle. teach him to flank for you and everyone will be a whole lot happier. after the battle go see your other new best friend. the partys cleric. this tactic has served the halfling rogue in my Scarred Lands game well. and smile big and nod a lot when they lecture you about thier God and silly code of morality. then when they have done and healed you up scamper off and go back to what you were doing.If you have setting or other questions then feel free to post them. folks here abouts will be more then happy to chime in with some sort of reply <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />  asfar as getting to know your character I think you should ask the DM to provide you with a character history. then read up on the Scarred Lands [SL] setting books as well as the players handbook to get more aquainted with the rules. don't fall into the trap that you have to know all of it right now. pick it up as you go and reference the books as often as you need to. after all thats what they are for.and always remember to have FUN!</blockquote>
