Message: <blockquote data-quote="PosterBoy" data-source="post: 2725377" data-attributes="member: 2259">I played EQ2 and I really really enjoyed it.  A lot of people like to bash it, but sometimes I think people just like on hate on EQ.   However, once WoW was released, sony started to change it to be more like WoW.  Then they sort of ruined it.  I quit after level 45.I then played WoW for a bit.  It is extremely well done, but on a personal note, I didn’t like the cartonish graphics.  Not that it’s a flaw.   But since I had already played EQ2 so long, I couldn’t get into WoW as it felt like more of the same.  But it I’ll say again, it was very well done.I also played CoH for a long time.  Gameplay and combat wise, I think it is a lot more fun than WoW and EQ2.  It’s more action oriented and moving around with your guy makes sense during combat.  It also feels very 3D, more so than the fantasy ones, because you are often jump, flying, etc over buildings and other terrain.   But it’s content isn’t near the level of EQ2 or WoW.   It’s more about leveling up to get to the next zone to play/fight in the new environment.  Still, I realy enjoy playing it until and only quit to try out EQ2 (I have a thing about not playing more than one mmorpg at a time).Now I’m giving CoV a try.  It’s been very fun and the content is better, but not by leaps or bounds over CoH (and still below WoW and EQ2).If you want better content, WoW. If you want better combat, CoV. That is my 2 cents.Oh, and if anyone is playing CoV, what server are you on?
