[QUOTE="EnglishLanguage, post: 6296218, member: 6774827"] If the player can't possibly explain how he'd be able to be hidden? Sure. If he can, I'd allow it. The enemy is shaken enough that focusing on their target beyond you is difficult(rounds are only 6 seconds). Verdict: Not magical You shake off enemy attacks and swing your weapon around to deter enemies from standing next to you and also assist in deflecting attacks.Verdict: Not magical You taunt the enemy into blindly charging at you, whacking in the face if he's dumb enough to do so. Verdict: Not magical (inb4 herpaderp "mind control is magic", stop, there is no mind control involved. The attack against Will is to see if he'd fall for the taunt. It's no different than a Bluff check to feint.) Him being charismatic means he knows the best way t manipulate people and catch them off guard to gain those bonuses. Again, similar to a Bluff check to feint. Verdict: Not magical As mentioned above, if the player can explain how he'd hide, then go for it. If not, no go. Other than that, have you ever played a stealth game like Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid? Picture them kinda moving around like that. Verdict: Not magical Falls under the same thing as Hide from the Light. EVen if it's just hiding under a box or something. Verdict: Not magical (Extra Note: Going by the above logic of these being magic, Solid Snake is obviously a magical wizard of some kind). This seems more like tapping into your race's devil heritage than any magic on the class itself's part, which I'm willing to give a pass because the Tiefling's racial ability is already fairly magical. Are some Martial Powers "Magic" No.* I've never played anything before 3e, so I'll take your word on it. *Searching through the class abilities for martial classes, I'm willing to admit that things can get pretty odd for certain Epic Destinies at level 21 or so, but I'm willing to let it slide because by Level 25, even Joe the Farmer is some kind of supernatural entity at that point even if he meant to be or not, even if the martial class' power lists still carry some non-magical things like Level 29 Fighters getting a power to snap people's neck and give concussions by hitting them in the head.
