Gives folks an incentive to spend skill points on Knowledge.He's also not satisfied with the limitations on his character. He's been trying to buy use-activated wondrous items that replicate various spells. For some reason, I'm really annoyed that he's got something that lets him cast Tenser's Floating Disk at will, probably because I can't remember anything about him acquiring that, but since I'm lackluster on encumbrance it's not a problem. So far the only other one he's managed to acquire is an eye of aura reading, which takes up the headband/hat slot and lets him cast detect magic. He was very annoyed that the thing cost 2,700 gp, when the hand of the mage only costs 900 gp (the eye was CL 3 then; I bumped it down to CL 1 since CL doesn't seem to matter).Okay, this has turned into a whine fest.
