I'm the GM in this game. Just to explain to a few of those of you what Darmanicus is on about... It's a superhero game. They've been putting up with playing kill-crazy cops (the kill-crazy reflects more on the challenges of the game and their roleplaying than anything else...) I'd announced some time ago that they were going to get superpowers at some stage, and this is how. They're in some extra-dimensional place where they get to pick a Spirit. Each Spirit is a concept. If Darmanicus was to pick the Spirit of Fire, he'd probably end up as something like the Human Torch. The Spirit of Sight and he'd get a lot of sight themed powers. The Spirit of the Badger would end up giving him the ability to turn into a badger. And probably digging powers. Also a new hairdo. Death, Time, Magic, Mind, Dragons, Good, Evil and a few others weren't available. Any other concept you can think of is available. Morrus has suggested either 'Human Achievement' or 'Heroism' as his possible concepts. Obviously giving him Batman or Superman-esque powers. Darmanicus has rather terrifyingly suggested 'The Spirit of Chaos'. I don't like to tell you how confusing *that* could get...
