Message: <blockquote data-quote="Miqaxd" data-source="post: 1570450" data-attributes="member: 15408">Something came up in a recent game session that started me thinking, where would a wizard store his spellbook at night?  What happened was that our group was ambushed by a sorcerer with a fireball during the night.  Luckily, my character was awake on watch when this happened, so the spellbook issue was not important at the time.  But many players (including me as well) lost a lot of unattended items to the fireball.  Later, I began to wonder what would have happened if I wasn't on watch.  Since the spellbook is considered a wizard's most prize possesion (he's a high level commoner more or less without it), what would he do with it?  Would he sleep cradleing it like a child, use it like a pillow, keep it in his backpack laying next to him, or something else?  Just wanted to see what other's would think of this.  Miqaxd</blockquote>
