I had the Itch.io editions of this game, and backed the newest version which includes a lot of extras. Thought i would share with anyone interested in Solo/Coop RPG. https://hinokodo.itch.io/text https://mimicpublishing.com/shop/ MIRU is a solo-first, hex-crawling RPG. It is set in a solarpunk future where a player character seeks revenge against a god-like AI for the death of their brother, who was killed by a robot. The game involves exploring a procedurally generated world, surviving encounters, managing resources, and eventually confronting the AI. The Miru games are designed as a solo experience, but can be scaled up to any number of players as a co-op experience with shared decision making. (We recommend playing the games in order, as the story is a pretty significant part of the experience.) Miru 3 has many similar rules to the past entries but tweaks a few experiences. Here are some of the differences:

The story takes place in a smaller area. In the past, 1 hex tile equaled 1 day of travel. In Miru 3, you can explore a second tile if you can afford 2 EP and the previous event didn't end at Dusk.
You'll have companions join you on your expeditions. Each new friend, features unique skills to aid your journey. They don't come cheap however and will cost you plenty of money and resources to keep around. Plan wisely!
There's a Dawn phase. Unfortunately the world is more dangerous than ever, and occasionally it may disrupt your morning. Enemies may move to your tile over night and must be dealt with.
The village has HP. If too many enemies come in, they'll kill your friends and destroy the village. It's up to you to protect the ones you care for.
To reduce pencil marks, there is now an enemy tracking system using simple shapes. Hopefully making the paper experience a little less messy with the number of enemies to track.
All you need to play is a pencil, at least 3xD6 (but 5 is recommended) and the Miru 3 book. The physical editions include their digital counterpart. They also include the map & character sheet to print out so you don't have to mark up your book. However, if you'd like to take your MIRU experience to the next level, we've worked really hard to bring you the Miru Hex kit.
