I am not sure what the sage said, but I would only allow it with the improved grab feat. The idea with improved grab&nbsp; is to allow monsters with tenticles and such to grapple opponents without having to sacrifice the rest of&nbsp; it's abilities. &nbsp;I also thought improved grab removed the AOO that you would normally get with a grapple attempt?&nbsp; TLG</blockquote>
