Some spell rules questions -- Phase Door and Scrying

Phase Door: How long range does this door have? Is it the "1 ft deep / level" that determines this, or can the caster choose the destination to be anywhere.. If it is 1 ft per level, it seems extremely underpowered IMO

Scrying / Greater Scrying: Can you target only ONE person/object per casting of this spell, or can you flip around and scry multiple people with each casting, making Greater Scrying very potent indeed...

The phase door is for making a passage through something solid. it has measurements of 5 x 8 ft, and you can pass 1 ft/level (minimum 13 feet due to level) with it. It is no teleport spell, but therefore it's only visible to you and usable several times, up to level/2 times(and it's conjuration, not transmutation, which might be useful if you were stupid enough to ban transmutation...). You can also take one other person with you (although that counts as two uses). So you could free your whole party from a dungeon with only one or two of these spells. Or you make a shortcut. If you want to close greater distances, you must use dimension door, teleport, teleport without error, or teleportation circle (or other teleport spells), or even do some planeshifting.

The description of Scrying starts with: "The character can see and hear a creature." That's a creature, singular.

Only one target per casting, sorry.
