Someone got good ideas?

I play in a Kalamar campaign where we play the mercenaries. And I need to make a character but run out of ideas for an character. Mostly becouse most spots that I like are already taken by other group members. (We got a Hobgoblin Ranger, Human Rogue, High Elf Archer, Grey Elf Telepath and me).

I usualy play something with a high charisma (Bard, Sorcerer, Chaos Sorcerer, etc) But the Telepath got the same main ability and most of the skills I normaly would take. We my not play CG, NG, LG, CE, NE so a lot of intresting combinations fall off. And I'm not the warrior type......

Its 28 point buy, all that fits the setting my be taken (I tried a Vestani to make a Gypsy but it was refused so some restrictions are there) and I would welcome any idea somebody could bring up.

Thanks,

Lai

Looks like your party could use a cleric. I don't know the Kalamar pantheon, but for a mercenary campaign, a neutral god of war or of subterfuge/thiervery could be interesting. If your liking of high Cha characters means that you also like interacting with NPCs, you could choose the trickery domain, which gives you Bluff as class skill (apart from some interesting spells) in addition to the cleric's diplomacy. Clerics don't fare too badly with a moderately high Cha (say 14), especially if you are interested in the divine feats from Defenders of the Faith.

A cleric of the Old Man would make a good mercenary. One focused on the Knowledge skills of war would be interesting.
