No, not in the least. In the physics community, anything that contains strage quarks is referred to as "strange matter", but it's like calling something "wet". If you are wet, you aren't suddenly all converted to water.

Truth be told, they can't do that, energetically speaking. Strange quarks are heavier than the Up and Down quarks seen in normal matter. In order to convert them, they'd have to gain mass - that means you'd need a source of energy.
