Ok so in 4e we know monsters have roles, and the roles help determine how they behave in combat. It also helps determine how they function in relationship to terrain.

The DMG gives a few basics but there are loads of things you can do...

I think it would make a great (monthly?) column if someone where to just set up different tactical situations, and explain why certain positions and tactics work wel for the monsters involved...

I think it be neat to have a "Mechanics Ecology of (Put Monster Name Here)"

It be really nice for more foreign terrain, so underwater, deep swamps, desert, etc. Places were you don't have solid footing or orientation.
