Download it and try it out, see what you think. It's probably not for everyone, but I love it. It's got some of the most potential for roleplaying in an online game... the cities are HUGE... I mean HUGE. Omni-1 and Rome for example are so big you can wander around them for hours and still not see everything. And the Entertainment District in Omni 1 is great... bars, parks, clubs, the Arena, etc... The clan main city has an Arena and bars too, but I'm an omni man myself... And that's in addition to the gameplay, which is cool. And unlike Ultima Online or Asheron's Call, housing isn't so cuthroat... everyone begins the game with an apartment. Wait until you see some high-ish level Techie wandering around with his personal mecha following him... the thing towers over small buildings... Its like 2-3 stories tall... you can walk between its legs (Think Cyclops size from Everquest). Like I said, try it out, it's free for seven days :) If you play on the "main" sever, come and see me... my apartment is Block 2, Highrise 1, Omni-Entertainment district... take a left from the whoompa plaza, left of the park... Go past the Mongol Meal about 200 feet, hang a 180 degree right at the gate, follow the wall through the slums, take the elevator that says "Highrise 1" up... I can be found hangin' out at the pool in my yard, or else in the parks or by the mongol meal nearby... that is, when I'm not running a mission for Omni-Tech security for their meager pay.
