GRRM accomplished the same dramatic effect of "killing" Syrio in GoT in the manner in which he wrote the scene.  Nothing is lost and much is gained by having him appear later as a positive force in a life whic appears to be sliding into murderous rage for Arya Stark.Unless of course, GRRM has decided to make the Faceless Girl truly psychotic (which may well be).As for Syrio being Jaquen Haghar, I think not.</blockquote>
