You can share spells with it and turn it into whatever you want via shapechange or draconic polymorph. Share a tenser's and a shapechange with it and watch it go wild.I know I've seen more than just what I've listed here, but it should provide at least a taste of what I was talking about.  Familiars can be a pretty potent addition to your power level.</blockquote>
