I'm assuming that you are aware of the story thus far and you can viddy the trailer at Terminator 3 trailer I'd like your help in sorting out what actually the new movie will be about since the ending of T2 was rather conclusive and that a nuclear war (obviously) did not break out in 1997 as promised. 1984. A terminator, and a human named Kyle Reese are sent through from the future. Kyle makes Sarah Connor pregnant and she destroys the terminator. Kyle dies. Later she gives birth to John Connor. A scientist called Dyson finds a super-computer chip in a factory (from the old terminator Sarah destroyed). With the chip's help he manages to speed up computer development significantly, taking a huge step towards acheiving the self-aware computer SkyNet. 1991. Two terminators are sent through from the future. One of them is supposed to kill John Connor and the other one is supposed to protect him. John destroys them both as well as the super-computer chip found by Dyson. Dyson dies. 1997. SkyNet becomes self-aware and decides to exterminate man with the help of American and Russian nuclear weapons. Only there is no nuclear war. Why? 2003. John Connor is a young man and apparently in grave danger once again. Again, why? If I got something wrong please notify me so I can update the list.
