Have people been reading the rumors? There's going to be a create-your-own character system, letting you pick weapon, combat style, . . . probably have the ability to balance speed and power, and you can design your appearance however you want.

I can just see myself sitting down one afternoon and making my entire D&D group's characters. The wizards might be a little hard, but it'll be fun to see who'd really win in a fight. *grin*

Oooh...that sounds great. Soul Calibur games are so fun anyway, but creating my own character? Mmmm...this just gets better and better.

it's pretty fun. i was watching an interview with the lead designer of the game here in the office (i work for 1up.com) and he showed off some custom characters. You choose the height, gender, body type, weapon type, fighting type, and that sort of thing. your character becomes good or evil depending on the color and style of the costume you give them. It looked pretty tight.
