I am a big fan of RPGSoundmixer however I am very bummed out that it doesn't work in Vista and I can no longer use it because of that. I have contacted the developers and posted on their boards - it just looks like they have given up on the project. Too bad, it is currently the best RPG Sound Mixer out there - you can do anything if you know how. I have downloaded the other mentioned apps in the links above. Syrinscape is nice but way to limited in flexibility. Plus there are really strange issues with it like having to re-browse the folder to load new sound content. Plus if I name the files with capital letters, the app won't see the sound file. Mixere is probably the best fit for me. It allows me to assign keys to 'snapshots' and fade between this mix and that mix. The only issue I have with it atm is that I cannot start all the tracks at once (or selected tracks). I want a master play button and a way to select mulitple tracks. When I hit this master play button, the selected tracks all start at the same time. Currently I have to start each track at a time which is a royal pain if I have a mix of 15 tracks. I even tried to snap shot it but that is impossible to start all the tracks and snapshot it before anything is played. That is the only issue I am having currently and if anyone knows a way around this, please let me know. I still wish RPGSoundmixer worked in Vista however.. :(
