I've found the StarWars line to be not very interesting, having lots of StormTroopers, or figures with either Blasters or Light Sabers. HeroClix looks more potentially usable, but there are a large number of them to look through.
You might try some of the Dust Premium figures, e.g.: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dust-Tactics-Babylon-Premium-Axis-Ndak-Kampgruppe-new-sealed-/272582482571. These are quite expensive. There are some Confrontation miniatures (Dirz mostly) which might work. (I loved their unpainted line; the pre-paints never had enough quality to interest me. YMMV.) There are a scant few from em-4: http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/Copy_of_SCI_FI.html. I didn't find the quality/price to be good enough that I every purchased any. There are figures from Heroscape which might be usable. I haven't tried these, so don't know if the scale works, but the figures are relative cheap and of reasonable quality. See https://boardgamegeek.com/image/254540/heroscape-master-set-swarm-marro and perhaps https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/629474/where-start-sci-fi-heroscape. Also, in a pinch, painted 40K figures can be gotten from eBay. Both quality and price are hit and miss. Both StarWars and HeroClix have many miniatures to choose from. You'll have to just look through them to tell if any are usable for your game. I've found the StarWars line to be not very interesting, having lots of StormTroopers, or figures with either Blasters or Light Sabers. HeroClix looks more potentially usable, but there are a large number of them to look through.
