I know it's ethically immoral.. but I think they should take blind people into the space station to do experiments to see the effects of weightlessness of the visually impaired and to see if they could function in space.

I don't think it's unethical. It's a possible issue that will arise if we as a people travel to the stars in mass.

But getting back on topic, am I the only one who thinks "Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination" is a ridiculously overlong name and that they should have gone with something like credits instead?

I'm with you: thousands of sci-fi writers can't be wrong on this one- it should be "credits."
