Speaking of Dragons...

I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread about this yet. Did anyone with the books happen to notice the mention of "at least 25 varieties within five major families" in the MM?

Chromatic dragons, metallic dragons (gold, silver, copper, iron, adamantine), catastrophic dragons (earthquake and typhoon dragons), planar dragons (shadow, abyssal, fey) and scourge dragons (linnorms).

Of course, the chromatics were the only ones detailed there in the MM1...

I am wondering if each one will be done in each MM. So MM2 = Metallic, MM3 = Lets say Planar, etc. Be a kind of theme that go throughtout each MM.

I am most interested in the Catastrophic Dragons, something about a Typhoon Dragon just works so right.

I am not sure that I want to wait _that_ long... I mean, if I wanted to use them, I probably need a place in my campaigns for them?
