The two were in some type of coccoon as they mated - perhaps a type of temporary 'nest'? Did the book describe the other forms? Were they intermediate human / other forms, perhaps (what d20 refers to as 'hybrid' forms for lycans)? What was the title of the book? It is unlikely I'll find it, but I am curious as to the set up. You said it was mostly major ability score boosts, high level of physical (Str / Dex) and intuitive / survival (Wis) skills with low level in Int / Cha skills? (Hmm, she would have to have at least some ranks in whatever skill was used for 'Persuasion' I imagine.) What about special abilities? Did they give her 'other' form(s) any 'spider climb' type ability such as she displayed at the end of the movie? What about the 1-4 tentacles with 10-15 ft reach?</blockquote>
