Speculation -- next Friday's PH3 Playtest?

So, does anybody wish to hazard a guess what the playtest article for the PH3 is going to be about next Friday?

They didn't announce a class name alongside it, unlike previous classes, so it might not be a class. (but wouldn't seeing a monk playtest be cool?!)

Or it might be a full-fledged mechanic that they want us to test-drive. Perhaps related to the hybrid classes?

Thoughts? Wishes? Hopes and Dreams? Insider scoop?

I believe they have mentioned that it is a race for playtesting. My best bet is that this will be a huge hint for 2010s campaign setting aswell...

In the Dragon table of contents it says that it is going to be a new race:
Dragon #374 Table of Contents

My guess: Illumians, which will basically confirm the shadow power source for PH3. Why? Because in 3.5e they had a choice of several sigils that floated around their heads and offered benefits. That sort of mechanic might require playtesting to balance right.

Other possibilities: Elan or Thri-Keen (the extra set of hands might require playtesting).

Hope: githzerai. They will go nicely with the monk playtest next month.

THri-Kreen are my best guess since multiple hands would need a lot of playtesting, and if it is that then I guess Dark Sun is confirmed. Illumians would be interesting as well though and some have suggested that if implemented, Illumians could be the race that does hybrid class well (like half -elf with multiclass). It does fit the previous playtest and the 3E illumians quite a lot. I don't at all get why Illumians confirm the shadow power source. Sure Elirondas was on Shadow in 3E but it is on it's own divine domain in 4E. Did I miss something?

In PHB3 we will likely get a new power source (shadow?).
