[QUOTE="Balgus, post: 490444, member: 8113"] As stated, the arena must be huge. I am thinking it would be a random landmass with all forms of terrain (or a terrain theme). So 10 characters chosen at random be teleported to a random plane/ planet/ continent that is dominated with a specific theme. EX_ a desert, or a forest, or elemental plane of water. This would be fun to watch, seeing as how some mages like fire. But my thought is that the terrain will have a lot of traps and pitfalls, so youwill have to use your skills to maneuver from area to area. Say, a balance beam to go from small island to small island, or climg a huge hill/ mtn in order to get to the batlefield. This seems like a real fun part of the terrain. I agree that the bonuses are unbalanced. Some are extremely useful, and some are kind of, nyah. I think he specifically gave the item creation for a lich idea that was sent to him. Personally, I see the cohort as being most useful. Not only do you have a backup- either as a shield, or a cleric for heals, or even a buddy fighter. The options are almost endless what a cohort can do. Being as you get separated at the start of the fight, and not knowing where the other fighetrs are, you can always sit out for a couple rounds to prepare. i don't see it taking a whole day tho- so helas are definitely needed, and a good selection of spells are a good idea.
