I wonder if it might be different if he were actually playing jenga.

Namely, when I play, I always take out the bottom outside pieces to make the tower as unstable as possible early on.

I also make sure to place on top in a similar deliberate fashion to increase the chances somebody might fumble on the next.

With the gun, sure, they can take out a block, but on a less stable tower, how likely is the shock to not cause a tip?

Still, it's a novel idea.
