I made them, then took them down after a kind letter from some WotC people. I just yesterday found that someone has put them up here: http://www.mmpog.net/

Uh, Zulkir- I have nothing to do with this site or its owner(s). Juuust so you know.

Dr Midnight, while you're there...

How is one supposed to print the cards ? Each spell seems set-up as a full page of small size in pdf. Do printers understand this ? Can one purchase blank cards that printers can use ?

I use standard 4X6 cards. I buy them from Walmart. My printer (an HP 252c I think) is designed to print photos on 4X6 paper so the cards fit nicely in that tray.

They are putting out four decks:

http://www.paradigmconcepts.com/subpages/products_spelldecks_wild.htm

I saw a preliminary of these at Origins, they were supposed to be out by GenCon. The demo card I saw looked good. Complete spell stats, description, source (PHB, etc) and page number ref. on the bottom. Heavy card stock and semi gloss lamination.

For $30 per deck with over 300 cards, that's around 10 cents a card, not too shabby.

Did anyone at GenCon see these or pick them up? I'm curious if the finished product looked as good as the demo ones they were showing off at Origins....

Price doesn't sound too unreasonable, now if I could only hang on to a few dollars... Stupid car, 2 tires last week 'n now the Spark Plug Wires/Distributor Cap seem to have gone bad. I'm sure that durned thing (yes, it's spelled 'right' :p) does this on purpose!

When printing a 'picture' of black 'n white (no Adobe on this 'puter) text from a .pdf does the printer 'know' it doesn't have to actualy print everything on the cards? If it just prints the text it'd be worth doing until I could get the Spell Cards set(s). But if it's as I suspect and the printer does a full 'picture' each time the time/ink costs wouldn't be worth it.

Does anyone else ( besides me ! ) remember reading a PR blip a while back where Paradigm was supposed to be planning to offer web support for the spelldecks my offering a type your own template for printing spells not included in the deck?

I would consider buying the spelldecks if I knew they would not become out of date by my inability to add new compatible cards...
