Once the pain in his head had been soothed away, it only took Flynn a few minutes to finish getting ready- a little bit of minor magic rinsed his face clean, trimmed and straightened his hair and his goatee, and freshened up his shirt and cravat. With a last, satisfied, glance in the mirror, he was ready to face the streets of Nassau. Well, almost ready... He trotted easily down the steps a couple of minutes later, with his cutlass and a pistol in his sash, another brace of pistols in his coat, and his leather satchel in his hand. A heavier bag was slung from his shoulder- he wouldn't be coming back here again. Even this early in the morning, the streets weren't deserted- there were always some folk about, and some sort of business was always underway. He made his way through town at a comfortable pace, stopping here and there for a look around, or a few words with someone... Slowly his circle began to tighten, to close in on the one tavern he had been avoiding. All the rumors, all the signs, seemed to agree- while Katerina wasn't lodging at Blackreef's, she WAS conducting a lot of her business there. Right where Read Wallace's crew was most often seen- Flynn could feel an itch from the pirate brand on his right forearm, beneath the sleeve of his respectable shirt and coat. With a last glance around the harbor, he started up the street towards the tavern. Fifty yards away, he could see a group sitting out on the front porch- could it be? He stopped, and fished a new bottle of rum from his bag- a quick slug fortified him just enough... With the bottle in one hand, and his surgeon's satchel in the other he looked as unthreatening as anyone so heavily armed ever could, and he strolled closer, giving those on the porch time enough to see him, to assess him as he was measuring them. The men looked fit, save for that exotic fellow; the native woman was as striking as the rumors had indicated. And that was Old Zef, looking as battered as ever... And that, of course, HAD to be Katerina- what a fine figure of a woman she had turned out to be. He could see the group conversing as he approached- some important business was afoot. At last, though, the moment had arrived, after all these years- he could finally begin to pay back the debt that he owed to Captain Blackheart. He stopped at the foot of the steps, and looked up at the group seated on the porch. He swept a quick glance at the others, but his gaze ended on Katerina. He bowed from the waist, then straightened with confident, lopsided smile, and gestured to the steps. "Captain! Permission to come aboard?"
